United Performance Metal's Benicia, CA location is looking to add a Plant Operations Assistant to their 1st shift Grinding Department Team. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Starting Wage: $20 , depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Benicia, CA, On-site
~~ $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days~~
Essential Duties:
- Partner with Machine Operators on various assignments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Utilize machinery to move product across the warehouse. Forklifts and other drivable equipment.
- Inspect product utilizing precision measurement tools.
- Assist with inventory management: supply level monitoring, pull and pack, product delivery.
- Ensure a safe, clean and organized working area. Includes machinery and tool maintenance.
- Must understand and work to all UPM procedures, work instructions, processes, and forms
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience for Success:
- Strong math aptitude
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must be able to inspect work with precision measurement tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Light duty truck driving
