Sanitation Technician 1st Shift
United Pet Foods is a locally owned pet food manufacturer, since 1976. With continual growth over the past years, we are in need of 1 full-time Sanitation Technician for 1st shift. We are looking for an energetic, positive and dependable candidate.
Summary:The Primary job function of Sanitation is to keep the facility clean according to the Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of all Quality Standards
- Able to clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment on a set schedule
- Keep all areas in facility clean and free from debris on a set schedule
- Maintain outside area from any debris
- Keep break rooms stocked and clean
- Clean front offices daily or as needed
- Clean restrooms, daily
- Must be able to lift up to 50#
- Must be able to climb ladders, not afraid of heights
- Perform Lock out, Tag out Procedures
- MUST BE DEPENDABLE. ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL TO THIS POSITION
