Description of services :
Be able to walk through the plant and identify where a VoIP phone should be located and what network cabinet to connect to. A project of focus will be migrating this site from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment. Be comfortable with Telephony acronyms as well as general networking terms. Have the ability to physically walk a large facility, install a phone on desks, review installation situations for potential roadblocks, and have a high safety awareness of surroundings.
Skills :
- Past experience in the telephony area is recommended.
- Occasional Overtime will be needed, and some weekend work a possibility.
- The candidate will also support a senior network engineer and assist as necessary
- A Network certification is desired
- Candidate must have excellent communications skills, attention to detail and the ability to be self-motivated.
Education Requirements : High School diploma, working on college degree.
