Accounting Associate What you’ll do: Responsibilities and essential job functions will include but not be limited to: Resolve 409 adjustment requests and make IAJ entries to clear. Contact district manager/TPM to resolve differences in cash Provide upper management updates on open cash issues Provide accountants with month end reports for Bank reconciliation Journal entries for bank account reconciliation Research and resolve 1147 errors and make necessary IAJ entries What we’re looking for: Successful candidates will have the following Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency Work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines Experience within a car rental business as a rental sales agent is a plus Self motivated and able to contribute individually as well as part of a team Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Knowledge of banking and cash processing Qualifications Associates Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Accounting or equivalent work experience Perks you’ll get: Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions.
