Job Summary Under close supervision, assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. Use various hand and power tools and operates equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitor quality of products and raw materials. What we’re looking for Monitors the production process system to ensure proper operation. Inspects, checks and documents process production activities. Ensures safety, quality of workmanship, efficiency and timeliness when performing the assigned work. Uses and maintains equipment in good working order and reports any abnormalities in a timely fashion. Maintains working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety. Follows materials handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage. Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts. Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results. May participate in shipping and receiving activities as necessary. May be responsible for snow shoveling/removal. Performs other duties as assigned. How you will thrive and create an impact High School completion or equivalent (GED) Prior experience as a chemical operator/technician preferred. Ability to work in a team environment. Attention to detail. Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality. Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Problem-solving skills Pay Transparency: The expected pre-tax pay for this position is $38,300.00 - $63,800.00 Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
