Key Responsibilities
- When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest.
- Always relate to the guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Implement Schedule.
- Set up and maintain demo area presenting products attractively and enthusiastically provide guests with information on products.
- Strive to reach personal and departmental sales goals as required. Promote the featured products as well as companion sales.
- Have a working knowledge of appliances and basic cooking techniques. Willing to continue education with regard to new products, techniques and safety.
- Must be outgoing and able to communicate effectively and enthusiastically with the public through interpersonal skills.
- Complete paperwork correctly accurately as required by departments.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Retail Experience preferred.
- Basic cooking and selling skills required.
- Flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs., grip necessary utensils securely to perform tasks and stand for long periods of time – up to and exceeding 6 hours.
- Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking.
- Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification.
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
