What are the responsibilities and job description for the RCT Box Van Driver position at United Supermarkets?
RC Taylor Box Van Drivers will be responsible for making product deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Follows daily work schedule as assigned by management
Stocking, rotating and pulling orders
Move and stack pallets
Making product deliveries
Accurate, efficient and timely delivery of product
Daily pre-trip safety inspection of delivery vehicle and accurate documentation of such inspection
Maintain professionalism at all times
Loading and unloading box vans
Performs other duties as requested or required by management
Key Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
Ability to follow map directions and/or verbal directions to delivery locations
Must have and maintain a clean driving record
Must have valid Texas driver’s license
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Be able to perform all physical aspects of the position, such as bending, standing, squatting, climbing, pulling, pushing and walking
Ability to add, subtract and divide
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
