USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Plastic, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
Job Summary: The RN Endo Nurse is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Endo Nurse provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative and procedure services for all patient populations. Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas Nursing License
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Endoscopy or Cath Lab
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
