This role is responsible for the day-to-day freight handling and order processing within the warehouse . These tasks include:
- Operat ing material handling equipment to handle palleted freight
- Utiliz ing RF hand scanners to ship /receive freight
- Unload /load semi-trucks with forklift equipment
- Pick product in full pallet quantities or in individual case units
- Ensures physical inventory matches the RF system
- Ship/receive freight in correct quantiti es according to work orders
- Conduct quality inspections and correct any product or order discrepancies
- Assist in other warehouse work such as re-warehousing, special projects, and cleaning
- High dependability, solid work ethic and a positive “lead by example” character
- Demonstrated and proficient forklift experience
- C an count accurately and perform basic math functions
- Frequently lift between 20lb-40lbs. Occasionally lift to up to 70lbs
- Proficient use with RF hand scanners
- C ommunicate in English verbally and written
- Must be able to successfully pass all assessments related to p re-employment testing , forklift safety , drug test ing and a background screening
