Who You Are:
As the Director of Resource Development, you will work collaboratively with all team members to provide executive leadership and execution of UWGW’s revenue generation strategies.

What You'll Do:
- Develop and lead strategies to grow revenue from all sources.
- Ensure donors and volunteers experience world-class service and stewardship.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, major donors and leaders within the philanthropic, business and government sectors.
- Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends both inside and outside the UWGW network.
What You Bring:
- BA/BS in public services, social work, or related field; master’s preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in fund development with demonstrated success in major giving within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of the social, economic and political landscape of Greater Waterbury.
- Proven ability to direct, lead, coach and mentor a team in achieving organizational goals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a clear, 'on-target' writing style.
- Demonstrated sales skills with a track record of effectively persuading and influencing stakeholders.
- Unwavering commitment to maintaining integrity and confidentiality of donor information.
- Creative, results-oriented, self-starter, willing to learn and able to manage an aggressive schedule, working beyond the regular work week as needed.
- Valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary range: $70,000-$85,000
