# Essential Responsibilities You’ll Own

• Participate in the monthly royalty payout run process 
• Preparation of quarterly royalty payment reports and support documentation.
• Reviewing contracts to determine royalty payment requirements.
• Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts for royalties, advances and write offs.
• Track and monitor guarantee requirements and expiration dates of licensing contracts
• Assists in the review of new contracts received from Licensors
• Enter required contractual data points into the rights management system
• Review and upload royalty reports including identification and resolution of any data conflicts
• Liaise with agents to ensure timely receipt of royalty statement reporting
• Prepare monthly 3rd third party royalty statements
• Maintain monthly Artist advance reconciliation summary
• Work closely with Corporate Finance/Accounting team
• Ad hoc requests and analytics to support Sales and Finance team
• Process and review Artist royalty statements for contract compliance
• Record transactions in RASA (our Royalty system)
• Track statements to be processed and update with status of outstanding issues
• Prepare licensing and royalty data for reporting out to internal business partners
• Other duties as assigned, including assist with month-end close, assist in preparation of participation reporting to parent company and other parties, assist with licensee audit program, assist with development of standards, processes, and procedures

# What will set you up for success

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Music Business or closely related field
• 3 years Accounting and/or Royalty experience
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible work style: able to adjust to multiple demands and a changing and fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise professional judgment
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy required
• Required technical skills: Advanced MS Excel (knowledge of pivot tables, subtotal, sort, filter, if statements, vlookups, etc. required)
