About The Role
The Permitting Specialist is responsible for acquiring permits for new orders that will allow Uniti Fiber to expand our existing network to new customers. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting department coworkers with a variety of tasks. Work will be performed under minimal supervision but with guidelines from the Network Director.

About The Role

What You'll Do
- Reviewing engineering and design drawings in preparation for utility permit submittals- requirement for most new orders.
- Obtaining permits for all construction work on the rights of way.
- Building good relationships with permitting agencies.
- Notifying Construction Manager of projects that are ready for construction.
- Updating databases (Salesforce) on each project status and information.
- Label invoices associated with each project.
- Support Construction Managers and crews on each project.
- Scanning, shipping, copying, faxing, and managing a variety of files.
- Proficient experience working in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- High attention to detail.
- Must be able to work autonomously and within a team.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Ability to work and function in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
