750 sign on bonusUnity House of Troy is currently seeking a HUD Housing Specialist for our Housing Support Services Program.Responsibilities : Locate housing units and provide general housing support to ensure that the people we serve are able to secure and maintain housing.Work closely with property owners and collaborate with service providers, to assist household consumers receiving supported service.Assistant with subsidy assistance.Use the innovative Housing First Approach Plan to assist with coordination and support to program participants.Promote an environment of inclusion and belongingRequirements : Bachelors Degree and 1-year experience in human services or related field preferred. Experience with HUD Housing regulations and rental housing programs preferred. Associates Degree, in related field and 2 years related experience preferred. High School Diploma / GED and 3 Years experience is required. Valid and clean NYS Driver License.
