UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital is a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. - Join a collaborative and experienced team of Anesthesiologist and CRNA
- Two locations- UPH Allen Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center

- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
- Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- Cover a variety of cases including general, urology, neurosurgery, ortho, podiatry, and OB as well as out of the OR procedures
- Work independently with Physician back up
- No heart, tight-knit group and work hospital and Ambulatory surgical center
- Post 1st call off
- Shared call amongst the providers and Triaged through MyNurse
- Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- NBCRNA required
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the CRNA's field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
