Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patient of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepares patients for surgery, conducts assessments, and provides necessary education.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions in patient care from pre-op to post-op and discharge, coordinating follow-up appointments and any necessary home care services.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS
