Our Lab Technicians perform a variety of laboratory and research related tasks. Including, analyzing and testing manufactured and recycled Company products to ensure product quality and composition.
What You’ll Do:
- Uses laboratory equipment to analyze, measure and test chemicals to ensure quality control of products.
- Prepares specimens, slides and solutions.
- Performs calculations and routine tests.
- Prepares and translates Certificates of Analysis and Toxicological reports.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Stocks laboratory supplies.
- Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment.
- Adheres to company quality processes, as applicable.
- Assists to resolve product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner, as applicable.
- Capable of packaging and properly certifying hazardous materials for surface and air shipments
- Maintain good working relationship with Senior Chemist and other technicians
- Log equipment use in preventative maintenance log
- Read and comprehend documents such as equipment manuals and MSDS’s
- Assist with other duties as assigned by Senior Laboratory Technician/Plant Chemist
What You’ll Need:
- Associate of Science or BS preferred
- 1-year laboratory experience
- Experienced in laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift.
- Knowledge of laboratory protocols.
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP as applicable to the facility.
- Experience in SAP preferred
Versed in the Following:
- Volumetric Analysis (titration)
- pH meters
- Density meters
- Viscometers
- Spectrophotometers
- Karl Fischer titrators
- Solution preparation and standardization
- Instrument calibration
- SOP writing
- Microsoft Office products
