What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMISSIONS RN position at Universal Health Services, Inc.?

Responsibilities

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Admissions RN or Admissions Coordinator to assess potential patients for admission! The Admissions Department screens and assesses patients in settings ranging from: triaging patients from hospitals, performing scheduled assessments, and crisis management of walk-in patients with acute mental health and/or substance use disorder. Admissions works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, clinicians, and nursing staff to access the appropriate level of care required to stabilize the patient's emotional health. Shift: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 payable in 4 installments over 2 years

Qualifications

Education: Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Idaho or a master's level Social Worker licensed in the State of Idaho. Must be trained in Crisis Prevention Instruction (we provide) and CPR.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State of Idaho. Preferred experience in psychiatric setting.

Shift: Nights Sunday through Wednesday rotating
