We are looking for a Full Time Intake Coordinator to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals.The Intake Coordinator provides assistance to the clinical and nursing staff in the Admissions Department. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and supervision of all patients with psychiatric disorders or substance abuse issues in the intake area. This includes checking patients into the admissions area when they arrive, wanding them to ensure safety of all staff and other patients, inventorying their belongings, verifying insurance eligibility, entering information into MS4, and building charts. The Intake Coordinator will make and answer phone calls, file paperwork, and do other administrative work that is asked of them by the Admissions Director.

Hours: Twelve hour (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) shifts, shifts worked will be based upon the facility's needs.

High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in pyschology or related field preferred. One (1) year of related direct patient care experience required with knowledge of patient care techniques regarding co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients with understanding of co-occurring disorders preferred.
