Description
A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific dialysis to patients with supporting technical duties. Patient population consists of: highly acute patients, pediatric patients and intensive care unit patients.
What You Will Do
- Patient documentation
- Direct patient care/order review in the dialysis process
- Assistance with water treatment, dialysis machine use and other patient care equipment
- Patient support and education
- Actively participates in the quality improvement process
- Involved in learning and self-improvement

- Complies with all policies and standards.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
