University of Houston-Clear Lake’s College of Education is accepting applications for Adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and advancing student learning. Individuals with academic and performance qualifications are encouraged to apply for positions in the following disciplines: Art, Bilingual Education, Counseling, Curriculum and Instruction, Early Childhood, EC-6 Interdisciplinary Studies, Educational Administration, Educational Foundations and Research, Educational Leadership, English as a Second Language, Instructional Technology, Library Science, Mathematics, Reading, Science, Social Studies and Special Education.
We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to excellence. Since classes are offered weekdays, evenings and online to accommodate the busy life of our graduate and undergraduate student’s flexible adjunct opportunities exist.
Qualifications
Required:
1. Master’s degree in the discipline or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline from an accredited
university.
2. Strong candidates will have extensive experience in their fields of expertise.
Desired:
Doctorate in the discipline preferred.
