University of Houston-Clear Lake’s College of Science and Engineering is accepting applications for adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and advancing student learning. Individuals with academic and performance qualifications are encouraged to apply for positions in the following disciplines: biology, biotechnology, chemistry, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer sciences, data science, engineering management, environmental science, geology, information technology, mathematical sciences, mechanical engineering, occupational safety and health, physics, statistics and systems engineering.
We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to excellence. Since classes are offered weekdays, evenings and online to accommodate the busy life of our graduate and undergraduate student’s flexible adjunct opportunities exist.
Required Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in the discipline or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline from an accredited university is required.
2. Strong candidates will have extensive experience in their fields of expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
Doctorate in the discipline preferred.
