Job Description:
Receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment and supplies. Maintains accurate and organized inventory properly stored. Compiles stock records to verify receipts, requisitions, or invoices. Examines stock to verify conformance with specifications. Maintains par levels of all food and non-food supplies. Pulls items for requisitions and thawing. Maintains storage areas/coolers. Performs inventory and ordering functions.
Required Skills:

- Knowledge of food and non-food kitchen.
- Knowledge of up-to-date stock handling methods.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
- Proficient in the operation of personal computers, word processing and spreadsheet applications (Excel preferred).
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English at level necessary to follow oral and written instructions and safety precautions.
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired but not required.
- Ability to lead and assist in training receiving team to receive and stock deliveries to proper storage.
- Ability to use the motorized pallet jack.
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) standards and procedures.
Required Experience:
Work Experience:
One-year of experience with supply/shipping and receiving. Supervisory or lead role in a similar ordering/receiving position preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Food Handler's card from City/County Health Department required.
Education and Training:
High School graduate or equivalent required. #CB
