Pleasanton, CA
University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Pleasanton, CA, and Livermore, CA.
Position Details:
- Full-time is 36 patient contact hours per week
- Seeking a Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine physician to work alongside three (3) physicians in the clinic
- Clinic Locations: Pleasanton (primary) and Livermore (secondary)
- Opportunity is a mix of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient Pulmonary consult service at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, CA
- Clinicians see approximately 14-16 patients per day
- The outpatient clinic also includes the reading of PFTs
- 6-8 weeks of ICU coverage per year, coverage scheduled in 1-week block
- 1.5 ICU night shifts per month, 1-2 ICU swing shifts per month
- BE/BC in Sleep Medicine a plus (but not mandatory)
- Call Schedule: 1:3 for Pulmonary coverage
- CVICU experience required; Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy experience preferred
- Collaborate closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians
- Teaching opportunities for Stanford Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents, to include a potential academic appointment
