Scheduling, Front Office, Insurance Verifier, Medical Records
Provide patients with appointment specific information, such as preparations, date, time, location and directions. Work with physician offices in obtaining information necessary to schedule appointments. Obtain insurance information. Review next day schedules.Verify insurance benefits and authorization for patients prior to diagnostic test. Front desk, Check in and Check out, Medical Records, assist Radiologists by placing their calls to referring physician, monitor Radiologists calendars, screen their calls and answer phones, take patient and doctor requests, process them
Always be kind, courteous, and caring to the patients, physician offices and colleagues.
Education Requirements/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Strong typing skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
