Position Summary:
UAA is seeking customer focused, friendly drivers to join our Seawolf Shuttle team! Our in-house transit program provides transportation on a specified route through campus to students, staff, and faculty. This is a 9-month position, offering summers off. Standard schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts (one daytime shift, one afternoon/evening shift). Apply today to join our team!Duties:
Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate/support a diverse customer base to include:
Must be highly dependable with excellent time management skills and ability to meet shuttle schedule requirements.
Ability to take the initiative, exhibit sound decision making, ability to work independently with little direct supervision and also as a member of a team.
Must exhibit flexibility and be willing/able to cover other operator’s schedules, if necessary. The UAA shuttle team works closely and cohesively, and team members must be willing to work alternate shifts, including early morning/evening hours, and work outside in inclement, unpredictable weather conditions.
Preferred:
1) High School Diploma or GED
2) Applicant must possess a valid State of Alaska driver's license.
