This position is a full-time, Non-Exempt, Grade 77 ($21.81 an hour, DOE), 12-month position, complete with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
- Knowledge of UA policies, procedures, and computer systems as applies to students, accounts receivable, and finance
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to operate standard business machines, 10-key, computers, and computer software.
- Proficiency using word processing, spreadsheet software and working with confidential information.
- Must possess good analytical/problem solving skills and oral/written communication skills (spelling, grammar, composition).
- Ability to work independently and productively as a team member.
- Skill in organization, time management, dealing with the public, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work well under stress, be flexible in the face of changing demands, changing timelines, and varying pressures while maintaining productivity and excellent customer service.
TYPE AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Work experience in an entry-level fiscal position or equivalent. College coursework may substitute for experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
- One year of college coursework in accounting or equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
- Must have at least 3 or more years of high level customer service experience.
