This is a grant-funded position for three years that will work with a variety of applications to produce reliable, accurate, and dependable information to assist the college in making data-informed recommendations on matters including student success and program viability.
General Responsibilities:
*Utilize data preparation and query applications to extract, compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data-related issues clearly and succinctly to various audiences
*Performs querying, data extraction, analysis and reporting on assigned data topics
*Analyze workforce data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of grant reporting requirements
*Collaborates with stakeholders on data and technical needs
*Assures the confidentiality of data, including sensitive information related to students, faculty, and staffQualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in an appropriate area of specialization, with emphasis in data analytics and/or information management
- Advanced experience working with large datasets in Excel
- Strong organizational skills and analytical capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team toward common goals, and to coordinate efforts and collaborate with a variety of individuals
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of compiling and presenting data for grants
- Experience working with State or Federal Workforce agencies
