Required Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Current UALR Mass Communication student in good academic standing;
- Experience/knowledge of media production equipment such as video cameras, lighting, microphones, and other audio production equipment;
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain media production equipment inventory and lab spaces;
- Assist students and faculty with checking equipment in and out for class projects and in-class
- demonstrations;
- Monitor student use of lab spaces and equipment;
- Open and secure department spaces at the beginning and end of operating hours;
- Perform general office tasks including answering phones, making copies, running errands, filing,
- and other assigned duties;
- Capture, edit, and publish video and media content for the School of Mass Communication;
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of professional audio and video production/broadcast equipment;
- Experience in non-linear editing, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software;
- Excellent attention to detail and strong self motivation;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
