Department's Website:
Operates postage meter and shipping scale, weigh letters and parcels for postage as well as packages for UPS & FEDEX, and assures the lowest possible rate of shipping/mailing is used.
* Transports mail and Express packages requiring special handling with a quick and punctual turnaround.
* Sorts incoming mail and deliveries and place them in the proper boxes for deliveries.
* Prepares registered, certified, express mail, and at times UPS & FedEx for proper handling.
* Picks-up and delivers mail and shipments campus wide as well as to United States Post Office or express services box.
* Knowledge of mail/shipping rules and regulations.
* Operate a forklift to transport packages and lift 50lbs or more as needed.
* Utilize the package tracking system QTRAK.
* Performs related responsibilities as required or other duties as assigned.
