We are seeking a compassionate, flexible, and reliable Infant/Toddler Floater Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team. This full-time position supports our infant and toddler classrooms by providing consistent care and assisting wherever needed throughout the day. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working with multiple age groups, this role is key to maintaining a nurturing and safe environment for all our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities
- Support lead teachers in maintaining classroom routines and supervision
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Step into various classrooms as needed to support staff coverage
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs throughout the day
- Ability to work cooperatively with a team
- CDA or relevant early childhood coursework preferred
