Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Assist the Chief Human Resources Officer in implementing all of the Human Resources policies and procedures including but not limited to recruitment, selection and retention of hospital personnel, employee relations, employee health, wage/salary and benefits administration, orientation, annual updates and maintenance of personnel records.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma;
- Minimum two years Human Resources generalist experience or above;
- Five years Human Resources experience or above;
- Proficiency in Word/Excel/HRIS;
- High School Diploma;
- Strong organizational/communication skills both verbally and in writing;
- Strong knowledge of Labor Laws, California Leave Law, and Workers’ Compensation.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Physical Requirements: The position requires a high degree or ability to withstand multiple demands in a fast paced and distracting environment. Visual acuity is essential to keep informed of changes in law and regulations and to read large amounts of printed data daily. The Sr. HR Business Partner must have the ability to withstand long working hours. He/she is also required to have the physical ability to make frequent rounds in the hospital, to come in and out of the Human Resources Office numerous times a day and to attend outside meetings, workshops and functions. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS or BA related field; Previous acute care of healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
