The Office of the Chancellor units supported by the Executive Business Office include the Chancellor’s official residence, Tierney University House; the Office of Campus Counsel; the Office Equal Opportunity and Diversity; and the Office of the Chancellor. The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor includes the Office of Inclusive Excellence, the Office of Academic Planning and Institutional Research, the Office of Academic Personnel, the Office of the Ombudsperson, the Academic Senate, the Institute and Museum of California Art, the Office of Sustainability, and the Office of Global Engagement and Strategic Communications.
Uses professional financial services concepts. Applies organization policies and procedures to resolve a variety of moderately complicated issues. Works on financial services problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

Required:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an office environment.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff. Proficiency in payroll processing in an enterprise system. Exposure to payroll or financial concepts.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures. Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Proficiency in PeopleSoft or UC PATH.
