What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietitian (Per Diem)- Ronald Reagan Hospital position at University of California - Los Angeles Health?
The Ronald Reagan Hospital is seeking to hire a Per Diem Dietitian to join the Department of Nutrition. You will provide medical nutrition therapy to our pediatric inpatients in specialized areas such as GI, Liver, Renal, Oncology, Cardiology, Organ Transplant, and Critical Care. Responsibilities include:
* Assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring and reassessment of patients' nutrition care plan.
* Conduct nutritional assessment, diet calculation, and the provision of medical nutrition therapy
* Conduct patient education, malnutrition/NFPE.
* Provide ongoing education to patient and/or family members
* Chart in EPIC and use Computation
Please note this is a per diem position.
Salary range: $45.98/hr - $53.63/hr
Required:
* Certification as Registered Dietitian by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.
* At least one year of Pediatric experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred
* Excellent computer and customer service skills.
* Strong knowledge in malnutrition diagnosing and NFPE
* Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
* Experience working in an academic setting.
