What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transit Bus Attendant position at University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)?
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Dispatch Supervisor, the Transit Bus Attendant provides the following services: cleaning and washing of Transit vehicles including heavy duty Compress Natural Gas (CNG) buses and passenger vans; connecting the CNG fueling dispensers to the bus; checking fuel pressure on CNG vehicles; charging electric vehicles, performing light maintenance; checking fluids, tire pressure and lights; and completing fueling reports. The Transit Bus Attendant is responsible for vehicle wash services for external customers, including vehicle pickup and return. Maintain the service work area and equipment, and ensure that vehicles and the yard are secure each evening.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
- Must possess, upon hire, and maintain a valid CA Commercial Class B License with Passenger Transportation (PV) endorsement in accordance with the California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles. (Required)
- Ability to obtain/maintain a current medical certificate with DMV/DOT. ()
- Must possess/maintain a valid California Class B Driver's License with air brake and passenger endorsement. ()
