| Position Summary | Will be part of a team training and guiding fourth year veterinary students, interns and residents as well as veterinary technician students on their path towards a professional career in veterinary medicine. As a member of the Ophthalmology service, you will be performing quality medicine at its highest levels and standards while running and maintaining advanced equipment associated with these procedures. Technicians in these positions are essential in the organization of the service and patient care assisting with examinations, specimen collection, diagnostic procedures, treatments, anesthesia and surgeries on small and large animals. |

| Duties/Responsibilities | Patient care management and treatments. Collection of blood, urine by expression, cystocentesis or catheterization. Collection and preparation of tissue, cellular, or microbiological samples by skin scraping, impressions. Routine laboratory test procedures. Radiology including settings, positioning, processing, and safety. Intravenous and arterial catheterization. Administration and application of treatments, drugs, fluids, medications and immunological agents by oral, parenteral and injectable routes. |
