Position Summary | The Department of Enrollment Management and Student Success is searching for candidates for the position of Operations Specialist. The Department of Enrollment Management and Student Success is searching for a highly motivated person to join our team. This position will design, develop, coordinate, and facilitate the execution of projects to make the process of recruitment, admissions, and retention more streamlined while providing more robust communication. Daily activities will include development and maintenance of platforms essential to processes in enrollment management, assisting other staff with project development, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Necessary skills will include verbal and written communication, problem solving, and use and maintenance of student databases. The ideal candidate will be student-focused, energetic, team oriented and able to work independently on projects. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of approximately 2,400 students per semester.
