Oversees all educator preparation related academic assessment systems and processes; manages program compliance and reporting with the Iowa Department of Education and other entities; coordinates regional and programmatic accreditation efforts; directs the work of the clinical experiences team; supports implementation of new curriculum; and works to foster a culture of continuous improvement and data informed decision making, as well as a commitment to meaningful engagement with external partners.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree required.
Required Qualifications:
At least one year of related experience in a K12 system, School or College of Education, or related data management and/or systems work; excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and writing skills; and strong organizational skills required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in education or related field preferred; experience in assessment and accreditation; knowledge of Iowa Department of Education and Board of Educational Examiners requirements and guidelines for educator preparation and licensure; familiarity working with Anthology (Blackboard product) or other educator preparation management system/database; and experience managing clinical placement operations within higher education preferred.
