Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
The pharmacy resident will be responsible for providing evidence-based, collaborative, patient-centered care under the supervision of a preceptor. The pharmacy resident will be a self-directed, independent, motivated learner as guided by the Residency Program Director and preceptors. The pharmacy resident will conduct several projects to improve the quality of patient care, advance the profession of pharmacy and evaluate the sustainability of pharmacy services. The pharmacy resident will also provide medication-related education and training to health care professionals.
Two Pharmacy resident positions are available for one year each beginning from July 1st 2020 – June 30th 2021
Required Education and Experience
PharmD degree from an ACPE -accredited college or school of pharmacy; eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of South Carolina or Georgia.
Must meet the qualifications to administer vaccinations according to the SC or Georgia Board of Pharmacy
Current CPR certification is required,

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills, innovative, team player.
Leadership skills and organizational ability.
Effective presentation and demonstration skills, both theoretical and practical.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
