Trades Specialist IV (General Maintenance Tech II), Minimum Salary: $37,735 per year, USC Aiken Housing
Under the direct supervision of Housing Facilities Manager, performs trade related duties to accomplish facilities/equipment/preventive maintenance, installations, construction and renovation tasks. Position will be placed on a rotational “on-call” (after hours) work. Normal work hours are 40 hours per week but overtime will be required at times, some scheduled and some not. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities needed: Ability to use tools, equipment and materials used in general building maintenance and construction trades applicable to the job; Knowledge of and ability to use techniques, methods and practices in the Trade Worker Field; Ability to perform manual labor. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and must hold valid driver’s license. Minimum requirements: Accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.Application deadline: December 19, 2024.
