Position Summary
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, in the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana, invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure renewable instructor position beginning Fall 2026.
Duties/Responsibilities
The instructor appointment will include the teaching of non-majors and majors lecture and laboratory courses including but not limited to chemistry for allied health students, chemistry for elementary education students, and general chemistry.
Required Knowledge and Skills
A minimum of an M.S. in chemistry or related discipline is required.

About the Department
The Chemistry & Biochemistry Department offers ACS approved chemistry and biochemistry programs and is well equipped with modern instrumentation. It is home to 11 full-time faculty members and approximately 85 undergraduate students and offers support courses for many programs at the institution.
