What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEACHING FACULTY 1 position at University of Wisconsin–Madison?

Job Summary:

Teach LSC 450: Documentary Photography for the Sciences, Tuesdays & Thursdays 1-2:15 pm for Spring 2022 semester. Trains students in visual storytelling and how to think photographically for communicating science, health and the environment. Students learn the foundations of documentary photography and create their own portfolio of work, including a team project on effective still-image video stories.

Required

Degree in communication, journalism, or related position-relevant fields

Qualifications:

At least five years experience in documentary photography; some experience in college-level teaching

This position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.



Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 5 month appointment.

Salary:

Minimum $49,000 ACADEMIC (9 months)
