**University Park Nursing & Rehab is under new management and is looking for a hard-working self-starter to join our Maintenance team**
Job Summary:
Ensures the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and work orders. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Responds to and completes resident work orders, ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.
B. Performs work needed to ready rooms for move-in as assigned.
C. Performs general maintenance projects as assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and outside landscaping maintenance.
D. Knowledge of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.
E. Responds promptly to emergencies.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
- Participates in the Maintenance on call program.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and professionally with peers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all staff.
- Follows OSHA, Fire Marshall, State and Federal guidelines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Maintenance Experience a must!!
