Job Summary: The Physician provides quality patient care in a clinical setting. The Physician also assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs. Job Description: Physician (Neurointensivist) (Job NEUROWEB) Responsible to diagnose and treat diseases of the nervous system and will identify, prevent and treat secondary brain injury. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. Collect, record and maintain patient information, including medical history, reports and examination results. Requires Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or foreign educational equivalent. Must have valid Physician License in the State of Michigan. Must be BE/BC in Neurology. New hires must also receive their booster within 30 days after the date that they are eligible to receive it, per CDC guidelines. Exemptions or accommodations to the Wayne Health vaccine requirement may be approved under certain limited circumstances. Anyone with an approved exemption must have weekly PCR COVID-19 testing on their own time and submit the results every Monday, before arriving at work.
