LOCATION: Miami with options for LA, NY, CH or remote ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: The Insights and Analytics team at VIX Streaming is looking for a Content Analyst to join our us! We are a small but mighty group with a curiosity for data and unearthing it to help find insights that help move our business. Content analysis focuses on the content and impact of the programs and Live events we stream for both our ad supported (ViX) and subscription services (ViX ). Our team is highly collaborative, passionate about the media industry and oriented towards continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who excels at using technical skills to derive insights from large behavioral datasets, and who can translate the more nuanced aspects of analytics to a broad group of business partners and executives. You will report to the Director of the group. ABOUT YOU: Love to dig deep into data to help uncover insights that can move a business forward Ability to thrive in fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain focus and confidentiality Strong collaboration and relationship building ability Ability to manage multiple projects end to end Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interest and/or passion for all things entertainment YOUR DAY-DAY: As a Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll be responsible for: Daily, weekly and monthly reporting Data process and clean-up Deep-dive analyses Data visualization Partnering with content and production teams to interpret the data and make recommendations to optimize our ViX/ViX ’s product portfolio. Ad-hoc requests which originate from our Exec. Team, Ad Sales, Distribution, and other teams YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of work experience in analytics, data instrumentation, or statistical analysis Outstanding written, visual & verbal presentation skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 1-3 years’ daily working experience within SQL Experience exploring large datasets with GCP/Big Query or similar Strong technical aptitude for understanding how data is created, processed, and reported Hands-on experience using common analytics tools (Excel, gsheets, Google Analytics) to build and communicate data stories Use of Looker or a similar BI tool Solid knowledge of common statistical analysis and techniques Ideal but not required, use of syndicated tools such as, Nielsen, comScore, Netbase, RivalIQ, MRI, US/Latin American census data OUR BENEFITS: TelevisaUnivision believes that a happy, well-balanced employee is what makes our culture thrive.
