What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Dog Handler position at Unleashed Dog Camp?
Unleashed Dog Camp is located in Renton on 25 acres, is kennel-free and uses positive training practices to manage groups of dogs.
We are currently hiring for the position of shift lead for weekend and weekday shifts either 11am - 7pm or 2pm - 7pm with a consistent schedule. We are open 7 days a week 7am to 7pm including all holidays.
Handlers and Shift Leads at Unleashed manage groups of 10-15 dogs while they walk around and play outside. They also perform indoor cleaning duties, communicate with clients, plan tasks for other employees and do whatever it takes to provide the highest quality of care for our dogs.
Full time employees can access group health benefits through Kaiser after one month of employment. 70% of benefit costs are covered by the company. Dental and vision are also available and are paid fully by the employee at a discounted group rate.
Employees are also allowed to bring their own dog to work once onboarding and training is complete and assuming the dog meets our behavioral expectations.
