EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
· Three (3) years’ experience as a Case Manager providing oversight of adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities;
· Three (3) years’ experience in developing and implementing training programs for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
· Three (3) years’ supervisory experience of a staff of 6 or more employees;
-Experience in individual programming and advocacy;
OR
Bachelor’s in Human Services or a closely related field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Training and/or experience in behavior modification techniques;
· Prior experience with coordinating and scheduling transportation routes preferred.
· Responsible for the onset of daily operations during listed business days including opening of the facility;
· Professionally and respectfully represent the agency, caseloads, departments, and components;
· Assist in the coordination of daily schedules for individual classrooms to ensure staff to consumer ratios are met;
· Coordinate the daily schedules for transportation services to account for absences, new consumers, and changes to routes;
· Monitor vehicle daily maintenance and schedule repairs. Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and safe working order;
· Monitor program, facility, and equipment maintenance; complete repair and maintenance forms. Coordinate repairs with maintenance person and vendors;
· Develop and coordinate volunteer sites;
· Conduct off-site observations of volunteer sites and work sites;
· Complete time studies for consumers;
· Complete consumer payroll;
· Perform time and motion studies;
· Responsible for in-house contract performance: timelines, customer service and quality assurance;
· Participates as a representative on the Health and Safety Committee;
· Monitor and coordinate fire and disaster drills, and health and safety reports;
· Tracks consumer physician orders, medication orders, and medication reordering;
· Coordinate departmental training and complete checklists for new employees;
· Develop, conduct, schedule, and/or attend Individual Program Plan meetings, staffing, screening, and other I.D. team meetings;
· Ensure that programs are implemented and files maintained with all required agencies;
· Craft raw data for reports;
· Monitor survey, skill assessment, and community assessments submission for supervised programs;
· Participate in reviews and inspections;
· Serve as primary residential liaison and contact person for supervised programs;
· Conduct regular audits and assessments of individual files and programs;
· Report any witnessed, suspected, or reported consumer abuse or neglect under the mandated reporter requirements;
· Implement disaster and emergency plans;
· Ensure the safety and welfare of participants and report any accidents, incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions and report to the proper authorities/agencies;
· Ensure implementation of Consumer’s Personal Rights;
· Other functions as assigned to ensure the agency standards, practices, policies and procedures are met.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
