To perform ECGs, Signal Average ECGs (SAECG) and Holter Monitoring. Edits, retrieves and transmits ECGs using the MUSE computer system. Provides ECG training for hospital personnel, local technical school students and Gannon Respiratory Care students.
Responsibilities:
- Performs ECGs on neonates, pediatrics and adults. Possesses the ability to obtain and interpret information considering age specific needs. Performs SAECGs. Edits ECG reports accurately to reflect physician interpretation using the MUSE computer system. Collates and retrieves ECGs for all areas of the Medical Center. Routinely provides ECG inservice education and training to nursing, respiratory care staff and students. Performs routine maintenance on ECG, Holter and MUSE equipment. Troubleshoots minor problems with equipment. Contacts Marquette Technical Support for additional troubleshooting with the MUSE computer system.
