UPMC Hamot is hiring a Professional Staff Nurse to join the PASE Center!
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, motivated individual to join our PASE team. This position will be a hybrid role between assessment nurse and chart review nurse with rotation of time in person and remote (see below). This role requires strong assessment skills as well as strong interpersonal communication skills and has opportunities for growth potential. Additionally, candidates should be adept in computer skills, able to work independently, and proficient in time management.
Assessment nurse: conduct phone interviews with procedural patients gathering pertinent history, studies and care team information and providing preoperative instructions.
Chart review nurse: review history, meds, testing, care team evals. Identify and review potential concerns with anesthesia. Relay their directives to surgeon’s offices and support them in the resolution of issues.
Perioperative experience preferred (Pre-assessment screening, Pre-op, surgical, post-op).
Title and Salary will be determined based upon education and prior nursing experience.
