What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Coordinator position at Uppercase Brands?

Uppercase is looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to join our advertising team. This role functions as the supervisor for our creative process and works directly with our advertising accounts and design teams. You will play a major role in ideating, producing, refining, and launching the creative assets for some of the fastest growing e-commerce brands in the U.S., with a focus on beauty / skincare, food & beverage, fashion / apparel, home, and jewelry / accessory industries. In this role, you will :

  • Support our fastest growing ecommerce clients and work directly with Uppercase account managers, design team, and client teams.
  • Write creative briefs for new assets.
  • Project manage our design process from brief creation to finished assets and launches.
  • Create ad briefs with attention to industry trends and client needs.
  • Oversee internal feedback on assets with the Uppercase design team.
  • Communicate creative updates with clients and make sure all client feedback is incorporated into assets.
  • Set up ads with attention to naming conventions and overall client strategy.
  • Assist Account Managers with reporting stats on ads and audiences.
  • Own client brand guidelines and check assets for consistency.
  • Monitor design trends for advertising on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest and present findings to the team.
  • Conduct competitor creative research.
  • Manage inspo content and assist with creative trend research.
  • Manage our internal creative libraries and work with team to ensure all image and video assets are uploaded to Airtable and tagged.
  • Oversee creator partnerships and content creation with Uppercase’s influencer marketing specialist.
  • Draft engaging ad copy based on clients’ brand guidelines and existing marketing language.

Experience Our ideal candidate will :

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from a top university.
  • Have 1-3 years experience or classwork in marketing, advertising, design, or related fields.
  • Have an understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and key metrics.
  • Have demonstrated project management skills through previous work experience or internships.
  • Be passionate about helping growing brands refine their brand voice and visual identity.
  • Be comfortable prioritizing tasks and able to keep multiple projects on track at a time.
  • Be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication and writing skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Be highly motivated. We’re growing very quickly and have ample growth opportunities.
  • Be based in the Eastern Time Zone, with preference in New York, Charlotte, or Richmond.
  • Other desired skills and qualifications include :

  • Experience working with design teams and writing creative briefs.
  • Experience with project management tools like Airtable.
  • Relevant design experience or coursework.
  • Knowledge of creative software like Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Experience working with ecommerce brands.
  • Experience partnering with influencers.
  • Experience working in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and / or Pinterest Ads.
  • Understanding of Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
  • Experience with email marketing and related software like Klaviyo
