Oracle Production Scheduling

Job Description:

Master Data Management:

• Maintain accurate and timely updates to master data within Oracle Production Scheduling, including but not limited to:
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Routings
• Work Centers
• Capacity
• Lead Times
• Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Production Scheduling:

• Utilize Oracle Production Scheduling to create and maintain production schedules, including:
• Finite Capacity Scheduling (FCS)
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP)
• Analyze production schedules for potential bottlenecks and proactively address issues.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments to schedules as necessary, such as:
• Rescheduling orders due to delays or equipment failures.
• Prioritizing orders based on customer demand and due dates.

System Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Production Scheduling.
• Provide end-user support to production planners and other relevant personnel.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously analyze and identify opportunities to improve production planning processes and system utilization.
• Develop and implement best practices for production scheduling.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address production-related challenges.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience working with Oracle Production Scheduling modules (Discrete Manufacturing preferred).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
